Getting Started with Chronically Simple

How much information do I need to enter into Chronically Simple?

We recommend adding the information that is going to help you save time and energy. For some of our users, keeping track of their upcoming appointments is vital to them so they use that feature the most. For others, it’s keeping track of expenses. What’s great about our app is that it offers one place to stay on top of multiple areas that we’ve been told are important to patients and caregivers. The more information you add in the app, the less you’ll have to carry in a binder.

That said the more information you add the more powerful the app becomes for you. For example, adding a physician and assigning them to the medications that they prescribed and the appointment that you have with them to ensure you are asking for refills in a timely way, when you are already visiting your doctor.

Why am I asked to add my Health Card Number?

We recommend adding your health card number so that it is always readily available. If you are ever in an emergency situation and don’t have your wallet, you can pull up the information you need on your phone.

Does my healthcare provider (e.g. Doctor, Specialist or Clinic) need to use Chronically Simple?

No, Chronically Simple is independent of any healthcare provider you may be working with. The app is meant for patients and caregivers to better manage the tasks that come with chronic illness. If you have paper copies of reports and test results, you can upload them in the Documents section of the app so that you always have them available.

Can I track multiple medications with different instructions and times?

You can keep track of multiple medications using the Chronically Simple App.  By clicking on the main menu icon, you would then click on Medications.  Once in this section, you are able to add in as many medications as needed.  Each medication added will include the following information: Medication name, Schedule (start and end date), Time to be taken, Frequency, Dosage information, Prescribing healthcare provider and any additional notes.  You also have the option of requesting a refill reminder.  Once the medication has been added, all the entered information will be saved in this section, as well as in Day at a Glance.  The Chronically Simple Healthcare Solution will send you a reminder when it is time to take each specific medication.

Can I upload documents from my computer to Chronically Simple?

Yes, you can.  You have the ability to scan and upload multiple pages at a time.

Is there a limit to how much information I can upload to Chronically Simple?

Absolutely not!  As patients and caregivers ourselves, we understand the mountain of paperwork that comes with being on this health journey.  You can upload every diagnostic image, prescription, test result, hospital record, referral and medical expense you have ever had and not have to worry about being charged for storage.

Does the app allow me to take pictures of my documents and receipts, and upload them?
